These terms explain how dispatch fees, deposits, request review, provider release, and coordination responsibilities are handled through Carfixd Automotive.
Important: Carfixd Automotive coordinates service requests and provider routing. A required dispatch fee or service deposit may apply depending on the request, and a provider is not released until the required payment step is completed when applicable.
Carfixd Automotive operates as a dispatch, intake, scheduling, and coordination service. Carfixd Automotive does not automatically become the on-site repair provider, towing company, or roadside service operator by receiving a request.
Mechanical work, towing, roadside response, diagnostics, labor, parts decisions, and on-site service are generally performed by independent third-party providers unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Submission of a request through the website, by phone, or through any Carfixd Automotive communication channel does not automatically create a confirmed dispatch. Requests are reviewed based on service type, urgency, location, provider availability, and operational factors before a provider is released.
Depending on the nature of the request, Carfixd Automotive may require a dispatch fee, coordination fee, emergency priority fee, after-hours fee, diagnostic coordination fee, or service deposit before provider release.
These fees cover intake review, coordination, routing, scheduling, service organization, provider matching, communication handling, and dispatch administration.
Where applicable, the required dispatch fee or deposit must be confirmed before a provider is released, scheduled, or dispatched. If payment is required and has not been confirmed, Carfixd Automotive may place the request on hold, delay provider release, or decline to proceed.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, fees paid to Carfixd Automotive are separate from repair labor, roadside charges, tow charges, diagnostics, parts, or additional service fees charged by the independent provider. The provider may charge separately for the actual work performed.
Dispatch-related fees or deposits may be refundable only under limited circumstances, including situations where Carfixd Automotive is unable to arrange the agreed dispatch path. Once a provider has been assigned, scheduled, released, or dispatched, fees may become non-refundable depending on the stage of coordination and resources already committed.
If a customer becomes unreachable, is not present, provides inaccurate information, cancels after coordination has begun, or otherwise causes a wasted dispatch event, dispatch-related fees may remain non-refundable to the extent permitted by applicable law and policy.
By making payment, the customer confirms authorization for Carfixd Automotive to review, coordinate, and where applicable release a provider based on the request. Payment disputes or chargebacks initiated after coordination, assignment, or dispatch activity has begun may be reviewed along with intake records, timestamps, communications, and dispatch activity.
Providers routed through Carfixd Automotive operate independently. They remain responsible for their own labor, pricing, diagnosis, methods, tools, conduct, workmanship, insurance, and on-site service activity. Carfixd Automotive does not control the manner or method of the provider’s actual work.
Carfixd Automotive does not guarantee exact arrival times, exact provider availability, specific repair outcomes, or exact completion times. Traffic, weather, workload, communication delays, provider location, parts issues, and operational conditions may affect timing and final availability.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Carfixd Automotive’s liability related to dispatch coordination is limited to the amount paid directly to Carfixd Automotive for dispatch-related services. Carfixd Automotive is not liable for provider workmanship, provider conduct, repair outcomes, parts failures, tow damage, missed deadlines, or consequential losses arising from third-party service performance.
Carfixd Automotive may assist with communication when problems or misunderstandings arise, but the actual provider remains responsible for the service they perform. Carfixd Automotive’s coordination role does not transfer repair liability or service liability away from the provider performing the work.
By requesting service, communicating with Carfixd Automotive, submitting a form, or completing a required dispatch fee or deposit payment, the customer acknowledges and accepts these Dispatch Authorization and Service Coordination Terms.
